Our success at the Natural Chicken Grill is a result of our excellent reputation for fast friendly service and superior food taste and quality. With our approach we have retained a highly loyal clientele and a high rate of repeat business. Our reputation and volume buying allows us to maintain low food costs without compromising quality.
Our profit margins are excellent and are directly related to sales. A variety of factors contribute to the profit margins, including location, advertising, and pure hard work and supervision.
Throughout the years several restaurants have started to serve similar plates. Koo Koo Roo’s, Pollo Tropical and Offerdahl’s, to mention a few, serve the Chick Chop, the Tropi Chop and Johnny’s Chop. Only the Natural Chop, however, has our unique recipe with a Caribbean/Latin flavor that strongly appeals to the health oriented customer. Compare our generous portions, price and unique flavor, there is no competition. Only the Natural Chicken Grill is ”A natural choice for a real meal” as described in The Miami Herald.
If you are interested in joining our family of healthy dining, we offer consulting and training for a one time fee of $20,000 . This will cover all training, recipes, set-up, consultation, connection to vendors and suppliers, and consultation during and after build-up. This fee is divided into 2 installments of $10,000 each. The first is due at signing an agreement with us. The second, at signing the lease agreement with the landlord. There is additionally a $1,000/month franchise fee. Rather than a percentage that other franchisers charge (between 6 and 13 percent of gross income), this is a symbolic flat fee that commences 3 months after opening. This fee will not increase for you once you are contracted with us. (These fees are subject to change if a contract has not been signed with us).
Our stores vary from 1,500 square feet to 3,500 square feet. From experience, the most efficient and comfortable size is 2,000 square feet. The larger the storefront the better the exposure. A rectangular space is more efficient; however, a good architect can work with practically any configuration as long as the space is contiguous and not separated. We have a specialist real-estate agent that can provide you with available locations or assist you in finding a location in an area that you like.
You will be trained by a very talented and experienced staff with a strong background in the restaurant and hospitality industry. Our cook trainers have 13 years experience behind the grill. Today we have an average of 550 customers per store filling an average of 850 orders. Our typical business hours are 11:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. 362 days a year.
We close on Christmas, New Years, and Thanks Giving days.
